We developed LOCATE with the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts (CCLT) to provide a better way for CCLT's members to organize and manage their monitoring process, easily capturing all their project, property, and easement/fee title details. As land trusts outside of Colorado heard and inquired about LOCATE, CCLT decided to offer it outside of Colorado. In 2015, CCLT and BackOffice decided LOCATE could be best supported if BackOffice took ownership and responsibility for the app. LOCATE is now utilized by land conservation organizations across the US.
