See How Lightning File Explorer Works
Create and view a hierarchy of your files associated with a record, by creating one-off folder structures or reusable templates.
Tag files and easily search for those files by name or tag.
Manage the hierarchy, creating, renaming, moving and deleting folders, as well as uploading new files directly into a folder.
While the standard files related list in Salesforce is satisfactory when dealing with a small number of files, it quickly becomes unwieldy when the number of files grows. With the Lightning File Explorer from Q Branch, you can create and then view a hierarchy of your files associated with a record. The files are nested within a familiar tree structure which we are all used to. You can tag files and then easily search for those files by name or tag. The search results are conveniently segregated into categories (Files, Folders or Tags) allowing you to quickly scan for the item you are searching for. The component will let you easily manage the hierarchy, creating, renaming, moving and deleting folders, as well as uploading new files directly into a folder. It also includes a details pane which lets you preview all the important parts of the file, and a link directly to the file record should you wish to manage it. Whats more, the file explorer is 100% configurable for any language supported by the Salesforce translation workbench. Enjoy!
