Great Tool & Easy to Set-Up
Setting up document generation with this tool is super simple, and the documents outputted look just like the template. I like how it is easy to update and upload new templates to SF, its easy to add the button to any object to generate the document, and how all of these features come at a affordable price! Great low lift sf doc gen option.
Excellent User Experience for Salesforce Document Generation
As someone both part of the company that created this intuitive solution and an end user, I've found DocGen to be a simple and effective way to generate Order Forms directly inside Salesforce. It pulls data from Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and other related areas so the documents created are accurate and up to date. However, what I appreciate most is how easy it is to use. As documents can be generated from a single click on any Salesforce Opportunity record, making the process fast and intuitive, saving time overall. Also, the sample templates are comprehensive but also easy to edit, which supports changing order updates well. Overall, it's a reliable Salesforce-native document generation solution that has improved efficiency and my experience of Salesforce.
Impressive document generation capability inside Salesforce
Full transparency — I work for the company behind this product, but I also use the DocGen functionality regularly and have seen the impact it can have for Salesforce users. What stands out is how easy it is to generate professional, dynamic documents directly from Salesforce data without heavy complexity. Being able to pull information into templates and quickly create consistent, customer-ready documents saves a huge amount of manual effort and reduces errors. I’ve found the flexibility particularly valuable, especially when different teams need tailored document outputs while still maintaining consistency and control. If document generation is part of your Salesforce process, this is well worth a look.
Built it, use it for our internal Order Form generation
As the founder of RavenApps, I'll be upfront about the bias here — but we also use this internally, so this is a real workflow review rather than just marketing. We generate Order Forms off the back of our sales process, pulling together Opportunity, Products, Account and Contacts data from Salesforce. Native-first design. It leans on standard Salesforce Files for the template and writes the generated file back as a File related to the record. Nothing bolted-on or living outside the platform, which keeps admin and governance simple. One-click from the record. The whole thing fires from a single click on the record you're already looking at. No context-switching, no separate console. It's built into the same Grids package allow one install/upgrade across our product suite. It's done exactly what we needed for internal Order Form generation, and it's matured into something we rely on rather than just demo. One genuine ask to the community: we're actively interested in hearing about other use cases and feature requests. If you've got a document-generation scenario you think this could fit, we'd love to talk — that feedback directly shapes where we take it next.
Thanks Laura, appreciate the setup, testing, and content you put together to get this launched.
