Using the address ZIP code, Countif ensures that the correct county is automatically filled in for all standard address fields across Salesforce records. Countif works across seven key address fields: Account Billing, Account Shipping, Contact Mailing, Contact “Other” Address, Lead Address, Quote Bill To & Ship To, and Contract Billing & Shipping. All of these fields are automatically updated, ensuring consistency and accuracy without manual intervention. By automating county population, Countif keeps data accurate across Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Quotes, and Contracts — helping businesses streamline operations and maintain reliable records with ease. Disclaimer (Basic Version): Countif uses ZIP codes to determine county information. In rare cases — mostly in rural areas where a single ZIP code spans multiple counties — the county returned may differ slightly from the actual county.
