Extreme Dynamic Forms

Good product!

I've been using the product for about a year and it's been really good both the UI and the UX. The only concern that I have with EDF and was pointed out by my client several times is that even if you make fields read-only, you still see the pencil icon next to them which is a little misleading. Even though when you click on the pencil icon it will not allow the user to edit the field but still the pencil icon being there throws them off. My client is pushing to do a custom development just to remove the icon. Has anyone experienced this or has any workaround for it?

Great product - issue with different field types.

Hi there! I noticed an issue with hyperlinks. There is a field holding a link and when loading the interface within Extreme Dynamic Forms in Experience Cloud, the link is just text. I cannot find any information within the Usage Guide to allow that to be a hyperlink instead of text. Could you please assist? Otherwise, great product. It looks really good on the site and it is extremely noticeable. Thank you! Megs

Lifesaver for Experience Cloud

Team, We have been using this product from past 1 year and its been an amazing experience. Thank you! Recently, we got a simple requirement of making a FE Required and I do not want to re-install a new version package. We are on version EDF2.0 QuickFix. Looking for a quick solution to make a field required. Any ideas??

excellent tool for experience cloud

EDF is a game changer—easy to use and vastly improving the Experience Cloud’s UI. I have one quick question regarding the migration of EDF pages from a lower environment (dev) to a higher environment, such as QA. Do we need to metadata records?

lifesaver. now you can mimick the "Record Detail" component in Lightning app builder

I was going in circles trying to show only certain fields from a record detail page and separate them into different tabs on the page. this app is intuitive, allows the same accordion behavior, links the fields to their proper records, and now I'm able to filter out fields or sections on a record page!!!! Took me only 10 minutes!!!

exactly what I need except

I love that I can use this in communities, I was so disappointed when the lightning dynamic pages was only available to internal users, its our external users that are raising case, a shortcoming on SF part. BUT how do I use these on the layout when the community user click New for a new Case? I've tried adding to the Create Case page in the builder but even just the Create Case page is having issues from SF. Please help! We need this to move to lightning

Downloaded it to use with Opportunity Line Items but doesn't work

Unfortunately it does not allow unsupported objects like Opportunity Products so no use for us.

Good Product But Critical List View Bug

I have set up a few list views for my experience site and then noticed that the same list view works on some records (Case) but doesn't on others. After testing and investigation, I think that bug is related to blank fields that used in the list view. So if I have field Description in list view and one of the records that is displayed there doesn't have value for Description, the component displays "There was an error while fetching the related list for {Object Name}". But if the description will be populated for all related records, it resumes working properly. Thanks, and let me know if you are planning to fix that bug.
