Get access to all the data in the Global UDI Database anywhere at any time. The USDM UDI Connect App is available for mobile devices, tablets, laptops and desktops and can be immediately incorporated into other ServiceMax and Force.com applications.

By scanning a medical device’s Unique Device Identifier (UDI) barcode with a smart phone or tablet, the USDM UDI Connect App provides on-demand access to all the data attributes stored in FDA’s Global UDI Database (GUDID). UDI Connect can also be used with a laptop or desktop. Medical device data can be accessed by entering the UDI barcode number. UDI Connect includes the ability to add access to proprietary data. Users can instantly retrieve essential information about a medical device to support a host of business and patient safety uses. It’s a convenient and cost-effective way to maintain compliance with the UDI Final Rule and improve internal business processes. HOW UDI CONNECT WORKS: Search the GUDID by multiple attributes, such as manufacturer or device type and load the results into your company’s Salesforce instance. Use the UDI Connect App to access the data on your Salesforce instance with the UDI Connect App.
