We worked with BrightStep Partners on a Strategic Roadmap and Coaching project for our organization's use of Salesforce NPSP. With Megan's help we were able to see the bigger picture of where we're at now - thoroughly identify what our biggest pain points are - and plan out how/where we'd like to be in the future. The Roadmap deliverable provided an excellent plan for us to take those goals and implement them one small step at a time. As our lone admin, I additionally received coaching from Megan which greatly helped me grow in my role and understanding of Salesforce. From knowing what questions to ask colleagues before trying to implement anything, to crafting more manageable goals, to general brainstorming/idea bouncing, Megan has been an excellent partner and exactly what we were looking for with our project. We hired BrightStep to help us optimize our SF instance to align with our nonprofit's business needs and mission. Our SF had not gone through any substantial reconfiguration since 2014, so it was long overdue. As a nonprofit, we had a limited budget so part of the difficulty of the project was determining where we should invest resources now to pay benefits later. BrightStep brought a wealth of knowledge from their lived experience as nonprofit staffers and partners. Their deep expertise in the NPSP landscape was crucial to the success of our project. Their knowledge of which SF solutions (including integrations) were available and the pros/cons of each helped us tremendously in prioritizing our work so that we could make the best use of our limited resources. BrightStep was a responsive, collaborative partner, who gave us honest opinions and was willing to work through some of the sticky questions where there was no clear path. They taught us throughout our engagement, empowering our staff to better understand SF and how to configure it beyond our engagement.

We partnered with BrightStep Partners for an extended strategic support contract to provide as-needed Salesforce support during key staff members' leaves. Projects included data cleaning & import, field migration, bug troubleshooting, and system integrations. BrightStep helped build & configure our Salesforce database, so their intimate knowledge of our system was incredibly valuable. They showed amazing flexibility in shifting project needs as things came up internally within our organization. Additionally, BrightStep's support helped me grow and learn as a Salesforce admin, improving my skills and knowledge for the future and growing the expertise within our organization.

BrightStep Partners helped us move our volunteer program data from an old Salesforce instance with a managed package to a new, fresh instance custom-built for our unique business needs. This included a custom object framework, custom-built components for data entry, and a Salesforce Community for program staff. BrightStep's thoughtful partnership has paved the way for more of our programs to use Salesforce, enriching the data-driven stories we tell across our organization. BrightStep's configurable solutions, thorough documentation, and continued support has been critical to the success of our new database over the past year.

BrightStep Partners was an excellent partner for our project moving our old internal training portal to a new one built on Salesforce Communities. They demonstrated incredible flexibility and expertise as our organization needed to rapidly pivot to a virtual space due to the pandemic. Our new tool will serve us well in a post-pandemic world too - BrightStep highly prioritized configurable & extendable solutions that place the power in our hands to continue to develop and improve upon the portal internally. Successful Launch of Lightning-Highly Recommend

At Vital Voices in Washington DC we were very impressed with BrightStep Partners and highly recommend. Megan was very patient to walk through our entire current data infrastructure and was able to quickly pivot when we changed direction. They had to tackle 20 years of data with a migration to a new SF system. Our roadmap they created was extensive and while we were only able to tackle half the work we would have liked, it came out exactly with what we needed.
