Michelle, thank you for your detailed review of this great app. Coming to our pricing and its justification, - The app allows to define you almost unlimited auto numbers based on any picklist field or record type Id on any standard or custom object - Also, you can define multiple auto numbers on a single object with just one trigger to write. This way it's easier to maintain as well - Also, this app offers the option to batch run the logic to assign auto numbers to existing records. Considering all the above factors, we feel USD 50/month is t he right price. However, for all existing users, we are offering a 20% discount ie offering at UD 40/month (billed annually). Christine, Thank you for sharing your Superb experience and 5-star review. Yes, code cannot be created in Production directly, so as you rightly said, step 2 and 3 (creating class and trigger) needs to be done in Sandbox first and then deployed to Production. Also, test class provided with the app is just a template that needs to be updated to include all required fields. In short, test class needs to be updated to cover auto number scenarios and business validations/logic present in respective org.
