Has potential but doesn't show majority of our data
The reports, dashboards and report types listed are all nice and would probably work if it actually showed any results. There were very few portions of our data that showed in these. Worked with Salesforce support on this and support agent created a new idea for ability to report on chatter data. Please vote on it: https://ideas.salesforce.com/s/idea/a0BHp000019OlLrMAK/inaccuracy-in-chatter-reports-and-dashboards

Chatter Dashboards/Reporting Review
It is a good start, but some of the reporting is inaccurate. It would also be nice to understand what exactly "counts" in the reporting - at times it is unclear what exactly is being calculated. Also, the last release of this was in 2015 so I think it definitely needs to be updated more often.
A Good Start, but Some Aggregate Reporting Would Be Useful
So, I think is great from the adoption standpoint, but we were looking for a way to look over all user comments in a reporting view. It seems like, from this article -- https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000337647&mode=1&sfdcIFrameOrigin=null&type=1 -- you could create that sort of report object by object, but what would be great is an aggregate view of comments and the object type and record they're related to. Based on this diagram of the Chatter Feed Object -- https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api.meta/api/sforce_api_erd_chatter.htm -- it seems like that wouldn't be possible through a custom report. (And I was under the impression that this package might give us something more than just custom report types, reports, and dashboards.) Probably something we'll have to tackle using the API. Definitely useful for adoption though.
Unable to Report on Users who are not active on community chatter group
There is a report on Chatter Activity showing users with most comments, counts etc but there is no way to report users who never made a comment or like on chatter groups.
Limited
Wanted to use it to get visibility on chatter(s). Wanted to pull a report of all posts sent to a group, including the body of the post. However the feed/bofd dimension(s) only return when the post is direct in the group.
Need improvement.
More granularity is needed. I was so excited to see the Chatter analytics dashboard and couldn't wait to access the info there. But thus far, I've been incredibly underwhelmed. The modules just aren't terribly well thought out, and so far each attempt I've made to drill into the data and manually extract what I need has rendered me questionable data that's in conflict with the reports I get from my previously created dashboards. On each of the 8 new dashboards, maybe 1 or 2 modules provide real value ... and even in those cases, would provide more value if I could easily shape the content surfaced there based on time or other factors. (Often drilling in to the underlying report produces mediocre results with this, particularly if it's an especially nuanced report that falls apart when you poke it.)
Perfect
Has everything needed to track engagement.
Bland
While having the reports and dashboards gives us more information than we had before, it's not where we need it to be. Therefore they aren't very useful. More granularity is needed.
Creating Reports for last 30 Days
I would like to create reports for 1. Top Users By Posts Last 30 Days 2. Top User By Comments Last 30 Days 3. Top Users By Comments Received Last 30 Days 4. Top Users By Likes Last 30 Days I saw that you were able to report on "Top Users By Topic Assignments" for the last 30 days but I could not find a way to report on this for any of the above. Salesforce has told me to reach out to the app creators for assistance with this. If you could help with this issue ASAP that would be greatly appreciated.
Thats true. We are struggling to get these reports which ideally should have been included in the package. There is no time dimension to these reports thats what making our life more difficult.
