Nice app for Salesforce but can be improved

As a Salesforce user, I can say that QlikView is a quite good tool for data analysis and visualisation. This combination help our communication between marketing and sales because of the interactive dashboards and detailed reports that increase the understanding of the sales funnel. I've created a full overview for combining Salesforce with QlikView on the SFApps.info blog. So, for those who are looking for guides on how to set them up together, it will be very handy. I'd like to highlight the things that can be improved in QlikView: • Static PDF Report Generation: The lack of the ability to generate static PDF reports for email sharing is not very convenient. • Dashboard Adaptability: Compared to QlikSense, QlikView does not automatically resize the dashboard to fit the device, and this is not user-friendly • Scripting Complexity: QlikView's scripting and coding elements may require specialised knowledge, which causes certain problems. • Integration Issues: The process of embedding and synchronising QlikView with other applications could be simplified to enable easier interaction and data analysis. • User interface modernisation: Compared to modern business intelligence tools, the current QlikView interface is a bit old-school.

What are the pricing and procedure to install this app

Hi, One of my Customer need this application, now to explore the app , i first need to check the pricing and what all capabilities this app consist. So, Please let me know the Pricing and Procedure for the same. Please share some trial version if any.

Not a native app

We "downloaded" this app in hopes of using it to supplement some report processes as we move from one ERP to another. Was sad to see that the connector is an add-on that you install locally and that you need to write script. End Users will see a web based interface as seen in the demo, but the backend could use more intuitive wizards.

Yeah, with Wave here, there is a real shake up in the world of BI tools. I find that Qlik is the first name people think of yet it is possibly the back of the pack in terms of innovation and design. You have things like Tableau, which has a script free GUI for making dashboards (i.e. things which have taken consultants 6 months to develop and still unfinished, I managed to piece together in an hour). There are others like Birst - with its intimidating ETL layer, again GUI - and Bime. Once you see Wave in action at a Salesforce demo, users pinging CSV's to their phone app, slicing, dicing and creating dashboards with their fingers, you see the mountain that Qlik has to face in terms of immediacy. Needs to be native and responsive, not regressive and glacial.
