docuWeaver: Document Generation, Signing & Management (Formerly FTP Attachments)

Reliable document automation that solved our storage and template issues

We needed a way to automate our client contracts while moving heavy files off Salesforce to save on storage costs. We’ve been using docuWeaver for several months now to handle everything from simple letters to complex financial agreements. The biggest win for us is the external storage integration. We can keep all our files in SharePoint but view and manage them directly within the Salesforce record. The template builder is also very flexible; it handles complex data relationships (parent-child objects) much better than the standard tools we tried previously. It has significantly reduced the time our team spends on manual data entry. From a generation standpoint, the multi-level data merging is incredibly powerful. We can pull data from parent, child, and even unrelated objects without writing a single line of SOQL, which made our transition to automated wealth management agreements much faster than expected. The fact that it includes eSignature integration (DocuSign & Adobe Sign) out of the box meant we didn't have to piece together multiple apps to get a lead from "Quote" to "Signed." Would i recommend the app to others? Definitely a big Yes, especially if you are hitting your Salesforce storage limits or those who need a more affordable, all-in-one alternative to the bigger document generation suites.

Version 2.0 Does not support lightning well. Version 3.01 does a better job.

Have used FTP Attachments for 7+ years. Converted to lightning- it does not support lightning. Search support and they indicate it can work in lightning with custom links/buttons and post example. I try them and it does not work. I contact support for guidance and they send me the article I started with. If you have classic it is fine. With Lightning, coupled with poor support it is not so good.... With the 3.01 release, and the clarification that the on premise server must use https my experience has been better. Support for the last 2 incidents has been more responsive.
