Steam Role was created specifically for you, the salesforce.com customer, to facilitate efficient inspection and modification of your Sharing Model and Record Assignment. Now System and Delegated Administrators have a powerful console from which to orchestrate change to their Role Hierarchy, Territory Hierarchy, Public Groups, Queues, and even Ownership of Standard and Custom Objects. You choose what you want to see in the upper panes of the console... Roles, Territories, Public Groups or Queues. Then drag and drop users between them, or drag and drop them into one another! Drag a user from a Role to a Queue... drag a Territory into a Public Group... many users from many Roles to another Role... a Public Group into a Public Group... The possibilities are endless!!! Click on one or more users and the records they own show up in the lower pane.
