Rainmaker: CRM Deployment, Cloud Enablement & Custom Application Development

Rainmaker has always been the definition of a partner with their clients. We have utilized them from the first day of our conversion planning to Salesforce and this recent engagement was outstanding. Even before we signed this contract with Rainmaker, they helped guide us on our Pardot vs. Marketing Cloud journey. Steve was a wealth of knowledge and very engaged in our implementation. He took the lead by setting up weekly status calls, checked in almost daily for updates and provided feedback on how things could be improved. They also set us up for ongoing success with training for the team on functions and use to better position us for the future. The ROI for this engagement was very high. I recommend them as a partner for any engagement.

Rainmaker provided excellent skilled resources for the Salesforce technologies we needed. The resources were diligent in understanding our requirements, providing recommendations and options to complete our objectives. Project communication and status reporting was also excellent.

We've worked with Rainmaker from the beginning of our Salesforce implementation as they were highly recommended. They've been a great partner to work with! For our most recent project, they were able to add an enhancement to the API they developed for us to provide an additional query parameter for our customers to use when querying their records. Though much smaller in size compared to our initial Salesforce implementation, Rainmaker handled the project with the same professionalism and attention to detail of a larger project. I'd highly recommend anyone out there searching for a Salesforce partner to give them a call!

Would not work with them again

I think our experience with Rainmaker may have been 1 in a million. We had 3 different business analysts due to overlapping projects at RM before one could actually stay on the project. We lost our RM Project manager a little over halfway through because they let her go from the company. Response time was horrid. After implementation, we signed on for support with them and sometimes it took 1-2 weeks for a resolution OR response. Ultimately, I also felt like they opted to recommend and charge us for customizations when they could have offered a native Salesforce solution. Once we started bidding out future projects to other companies, our eyes were really opened to the lack of quality we were receiving as well as an overpriced service. I would not recommend this consultant to anyone deploying Salesforce for the first time.

A Great Partner to Work With

Rainmaker was with us from Day 1 of implementation. David Shapiro did an excellent job with our design document, teaching us along the way. Pat took over for the configuration phase and handled everything brilliantly. She was flexible with time allocations, handing over some of the easier tasks to us so that the experts could spend time on the more difficult aspects of our implementation. Larry was also with us along the way in the data migration. We used mutiple sources and were able to go-live with a well organized system of relatively clean data. We have also been through Phase 2 implementation with Rainmaker and they were excellent again. The project went very smoothly. Data migration was a big part of this phase as we brought a new user group online. Larry was there to guide us through the process. He and his team did an amazing job getting all of the data in and aligned appropriately with the existing data. As with Phase 1 we came in on time and on budget. Overall we have had a very good experience with Rainmaker. I would highly recommend working with them on initial implementation as well as ongoing support. Friendly, flexible and easy to work with - all around great team.

Rainmaker - A Truly Great Implementation Partner

It was a pleasure to work with Rainmaker on our implementation. We were on a tight budget and decided we wanted a partner that would show us how to do a lot of the customizations /configurations ourselves rather than paying the partner to do it all for us. Rainmaker was very flexible and allowed us to do just that. I spent several hours on the phone with David Shapiro over a short amount of time. David was able to understand our business needs/requirements and quickly design an innovative implementation plan. Tracy Utterback was instrumental in walking my through the plan and making sure I understood how to perform the needed customizations. After we went through the initial implementation phase, I saw additional customizations and enhancements that were needed to help meet our user’s needs. I’ve been able to call Rainmaker for ideas, advice, and assistance. Even though Premier Support has been helpful, I can often call David or Tracy and get a much faster answer and possibly a better suggestion than what I had thought of to meet our needs since they understand both Salesforce and our business from doing the implementation with us. They are extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. Rainmaker will work to understand your business needs and help you to meet your goals in the most effective way available. I would highly recommend them.

Complex set of challenges

CMS selected Rainmaker from a list of approved SFA firms based on initial phone interviews. Our relationship has continued because of the customer service and expertise they deliver. They repeatedly adapt to our changing environment with new enthusiasm, patience and expertise. We have four business units sharing one customized solution designed by Rainmaker. It has enabled us to develop and advance our organization's CRM effort while avoiding the mistakes common to a new process. Pat Kaunitz of Rainmaker deserves special mention as her attitude, expertise and patience have made our experience a success. Rainmaker and team are amazing!

The whole Rainmaker team has been invaluable to us but as stated in an earlier review, Pat has been and continues to be tops in the implementation and on-going support for Virginia Farm Bureau. Follow up is always timely and accommodating. Even better than Salesforce Premier support. We enjoy being able to use one system for all our needs. We've recently added Vertical Response and Sharepoint SFDC Discussion and are finding these very beneficial. Great job!!!
