Overview

This service runs once a day, and emails birthday emails to your contacts, using a Happy Birthday email template, or an anniversary template.

  • Emails any contact on their birthday

  • Uses an easily editable email template

  • Selectively prevent certain contacts from getting the email if necessary

This app runs once a day in the background, and sends Happy Birthday emails to your contacts. Works with any contact that has 1) a date stored in the salesforce Birthdate field on the contact, and 2) does not have the "Email Opt Out" checkbox checked. This application is written in apex, and is free to be customized by your administrator or developer. Other uses would be to use it for anniversaries, or other scheduled notifications.
