Birthday eMailer

Me fue muy bien hasta ahora que me aparece un error que no puedo resolver

Hace años que lo instalo en ONG y funciona perfectamente, salvo en una ONG que comenzó a fallar el envío, con un usuario con mail verificado no entrega los mails y emite un error "User does not have a verified email address" y es un usuario que utilizamos enviando el saludo hace años. Gracias!!!

The emails are send fron the Administrator account that is the user who installed it, we need it to be send fron another User acccount. Can you help us?

Simple and effective

This app is simple and just works. I chose to use this app instead of the 4 workflows solution also provided by Salesforce (https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewSolution?id=000181218&language=en_US) since I think this app will be easier to maintain in the long run. The various 1 star reviews gave me pause before I installed it in my sandbox to try it out. Most of them appear to be caused by one of the three following issues: 1) In your sandbox, you need to allow it to send emails. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000332265&type=1&mode=1 2) When you schedule the Apex job, you pick an end date. Pick something 50+ years from now so you will never have to worry about it. Odds are that the technology will have changed by then and it will never be a problem. 3) You probably need to have a Enterprise or Unlimited Salesforce license that allows you to install unmanaged packages. It requires that you schedule an Apex job and that feature isn't available in Professional Edition. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=code_schedule_batch_apex.htm&type=5 For me, everything worked as advertised and now I have a simple and effective solution for birthday emails. Hopefully that helps other that are trying this out.

App Works, but watch your settings in Sandbox

App works well and instructions are clear. I installed in Sandbox to test and at first emails did not send out due to the Sandbox settings that prevent emails from being sent out. By default, Sandboxes don't send "automated emails", because people are testing stuff out, and you don't actually want your customer to get an automated invoice or support email. Issues with the Happy Anniversary Tasks

Hi, The Happy Birthday emails are recorded as tasks . The task subject for the Bday emails is "Mass Email: Happy Birthday Email Template" The Task subject for the anniversary emails is "Mass Email:" Where do I go to fix the issue of the anniversary tasks / subject?

No email created

I have been trying to use BirthdayCronJob app. Test passes each time with no errors, however, Happy Birthday email is not being generated. Please let me know if you have any ideas what might be going wrong. Thank you.

Not working

Worked great the first year after some tweaking to generate a custom birthday card. Not sure if salesforce updates cause the issue but the program has not been working for over 6 moths. No support so looking for an alternative or fix.
