Great app but I would like to be able to install it on leads layout as well
If anyone can enlighten me as to how to do this it would be much appreciated! Thanks, Melissa

Hi Melissa, Copy visualforce page SSLinkedInCompanyInsiderEmbeddedAccount, then change the following in this new visualforce page - 1) standardController="lead" 2) accountName="{!lead.Company}" Then add new visualforce page to lead page layout. Also ensure you have set the correct security permissions on the new visualforce page so that all profiles can see the page. Note the component only works against a company name not an individual, so will display all people in the organisation for the lead. Thanks Mark P.S. Also try searching/posting questions onto "Force.com Labs Development and Projects" discussion boards (http://boards.developerforce.com/t5/Force-com-Labs-Development-and/bd-p/labs)
Nice widget, but it takes 255 pix of an already long Account page
This App is easy to configure and use. If you have a network on LinkedIn, it will show Connections from both the 1st and 2nd degree, which makes it easy to find out which Connections are known to your (former) colleagues and business relations. There is one disadvantage; the height of the widget is 255 pixels (and some 200 pixels wide). This makes the already long Account page even longer and the complete width is used by only a fraction. It would be better if the widget content was stretched over the complete with of the Account page.

Thanks for your reply and the tips regarding the Visualforce options. As it concerns a third party widget, I understand that solutions for the 'white space' need to be found in customizations.

Thank you for your feedback. The appexchange package is based on the Linkedin Company Insider Widget (http://developer.linkedin.com/docs/DOC-1071), from looking at the Linkedin development website pages it appears that the dimensions of the widget cannot be changed. Given this limitation of the Linkedin Company Insider Widget there a two possible workarounds (using the visualforce component written inside the appexchange package) 1) put the visualforce component into it's own separate visualforce page and provide a link/button from the account page. 2) put the visualforce component in another visualforce page next to another visualforce component to reduce the white space on the account page. If the components 'interfere' with each other you could put the components into iframes on the visualforce page. Hope this helps.
Linked In
Simple, painless and very easy to install and use. I can see in the next evolution of this, the ability to watch companies and contacts and suggest changes.
Great App!
Thanks for creating this, it is very useful! Tal @ www.cloud4good.com
A Good Tool
This is a good, simple tool. Easy to install and it's nice to see how I may be linked to on LinkedIN.
Thanks, Mark! And again, great app. - Melissa
