Unprofessional and Disappointing

I can't speak to what it's like to work with Heller Consulting as a client but if it is anything like the experience I had with Heller as a candidate, I would run the other way. I had what I felt was a good interview and I was told that I would hear from People Operations in a few days. 3 weeks later and I still haven't heard anything. I messaged the hiring manager several times but they didn't have the decency to respond. If a company treats prospective employees like this, imagine how they treat them once they become employees. Dissatisfied employees don't deliver quality work and that's why I would recommend doing business with another Salesforce Consultant. The unprofessional behavior and lack of follow up no doubt permeate the organization and that is not a company that anyone should want as a Salesforce partner.

The Heller Consulting team worked seamlessly with our internal staff to successfully achieve a migration to Salesforce NPSP under an impossibly tight timeline. Heller brought a wealth of expertise in Salesforce NPSP as well as our legacy CRM to the table, which made them uniquely suited to our migration. They had well established processes and tools to lead us through a very complex database mapping then data migration. They also have a great working style and have become a valued extension of our team. We highly recommend Heller Consulting for their knowledge of Salesforce and nonprofit business practices and ability to pull off very large and complex migration projects.

We hired Heller for Salesforce Experience development. The focus was on our donor/alumni portal for our university. This engagement required deep knowledge about Salesforce and UC Innovation's 'ascend' product. We found Heller highly competent especially with Salesforce, and what little they didn't know about ascend they reached out directly to UC Innovation and quickly got the answers we needed. Heller was very efficient in gathering requirements, flexible in adapting to our evolving portal needs, and skillful in delivering flawless solutions. Even in just the first few days of going live with our latest version portal we are getting rave reviews from donors. Heller does stellar work and we will continue to engage them for Salesforce consulting needs.

The staff member assigned to us was terrific. She was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and was a terrific culture fit for our team. We were disappointed that our resource was pulled off of our project three weeks earlier than had been promised. It wasn't a showstopper, but it would have been much more impactful had she been able to stay on the full duration of the sprints that she originally committed to working on.

Jennifer Thall's work was nothing short of exceptional for our institution. She communicated clearly, worked very effectively with our other consulting team, and most importantly, delivered solid results.

As a great guidance partner, Heller made it easy for our local admin to find resources for customization, guidance for more complex tasks, and totally took complex development tasks off of the hands of the local admin. We engaged with Mogli to guide our migration from Classic to Lightning Experience. The project scope was initially a straight migration (ensuring functional parity between Classic and LE and training users) but along the way we ended up adding a few enhancements to make our system more maintainable. Overall, the Mogli team was great at keeping the project structured but not rigid, so we were right on schedule despite a bit of scope creep.
