The Impowr Import File Component lets partners and customers upload Excel files through Salesforce Experience Cloud using admin-defined Import Mappings, so they can submit recurring spreadsheets without an admin importing each file.
Import Excel workbooks without converting them to CSV. Impowr supports multi-sheet Excel files, so only one predefined sheet gets imported into Salesforce. Other sheets can contain instructions or allowed cell values.
Impowr runs imports with the submitting user’s Salesforce object permissions, field-level security and Validation Rules, so audit trails identify who imported the data without using a proxy account
Automate the next step. Impowr's Agent-invocable (Headless) imports run without opening the import screen, while post-import Platform Events let you trigger follow-on processes.
Prevent partial imports and recover from mistakes. Impowr allows Admin undo an import using a snapshot, while all-or-nothing imports reject the entire import if any row fails.
Impowr offers a choice of US, UK or EU processing instance, so organisations can select where imports are processed while Salesforce remains the system of record.
Public sector organisations can collect recurring constituent data through a Salesforce Experience Cloud portal using Impowr, so their teams can report on the imported records in Salesforce.
