No Option To Export
Was led to this app following advice online. I had been looking at our salesforce data schema (setup, objects and fields, schema builder) and had been frustrated there wasn't an option to export. People online pointed to ERD tool but after installing am again finding your unable to export.
Good option
I initially configured it for admins which works perfectly but later I assigned it to other profiles which didn't work for users. It gives the "Insufficient Privileges" message when ever they access ERD tool. Can anyone help ?
Exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for a product to give our BI staff access to a schema builder like app without the create/delete permissions. Easy to install, easy to use!
Error: Not working
The list on 'ERD Tool object' Tab exceeds for big organization,with a lot of objects. Below is the error being received at my org and so was unable to make the tool for use. Visualforce Error Collection size 1,854 exceeds maximum size of 1,000. Also under the ERD tool page, checking on one objects , fades away rest of objects,making it impossible to generate schema
Should export and print
Would be better if tool could export and print which is what I was looking to do.
not working
I've installed the app in various instances and tried different browsers. All combinations ended up in the same result - a broken/empty erd schema. Marked objects are shown in empty boxes without object names, object fields or relationships. Worthless.
fantastic Tool
This tool is very similar to Schema Builder. User can easily add or remove objects from the ERD Diagram. Very useful for admin and developer.

This is a great tool for sharing with our internal developers. I just wish I could export and print from it better.

the one "trick" is in order to see std objects in the picklist, you need to go to the tab "ERD Tool: Enable Objects" and select them, then they and all custom objects show up in the sidebar dropdown very easy to use and free, what a deal!!
Not very usable
Didn't display 'Standard' objects on my install, 'Custom Objects' don't appear to be sorted in any way makes locating difficult, graphed objects should be expanded by default, no ability to search.
Not sure if there is a way to enable the selection of the custom objects, but I'm not able to select any other than the ERD Object that comes with the package. @Tiffany Zappulla, Yes it can be installed for all users as well.
