Can you imaging when you hand over your business card you give away 50% of your Salesforce login already (e-mail address = username) ? The rest is just a static password you probably use also for privat accounts ???? To secure this login with Digipass OTP by Vasco is really useful. I feel much better now knowing that my business data are so well protected.
very secure log-in add-on
This is indeed a very useful and secure add-on. It replaces my normal static password with a dynamic (one-time-password) one generated by the DIGIPASS. Banks use that technology too. That DIGIPASS also runs on my BlackBerry so it's very user convenient. All my customer data and forecast info is in SFDC. Don't want to think about it that a hacker cracks my normal static password and sells my customer data and forecast on the black market.... SFDC is cloud based and now with DIGIPASS as a Service I get secure access to my cloud.
you are right ... most of us learn it the hard way when the static password is captured using a Trojan (virus) and all valuable information is stolen or destroyed ... I'll never use online services anymore without One-Time-Passwords. I do like the DIGIPASS you mentioned.
