ParentFixer - No child Account left behind!

Could not merge Accounts - Uninstalled.

We could not delete accounts/Merge accounts which was analysed by Salesforce tech support. Salesforce came back saying that this app still use very old API version and I had to uninstall this. I would like to reinstall it if this could be upgraded and fixed.

What a great little tool and free!

Works a treat. You should get this app. This has saved us from writing any code to handle this problem that Salesforce should handle natively.

It has solved a business process

This App does what it claims to do. Support were on the case to help quickly after installing as experienced issues. This was due to our own code on account at odds with the app. Solved the issue and worked a treat. Free as well!

Like others already mentioned in the reviews this is really something standard Salesforce should manage and fix. Anyway glad that there is a simple tool for that which works great!

Very nice App

Works great as we clean up DECADES of data (some old, some bad, some dead!). Thanks for providing a great set of tools for us to work with on this challenging problem.

I just discovered today, after four years of administration, that this was even an issue. I'm floored - I was about to write up to a user that disappearing parents wouldn't happen, it would just link to the NEW name - but nope. Fortunately I tested the "obvious" theory in my sandbox before looking like a fool. I installed this immediately, a big thanks for posting a link right in the Ideas comment section for this problem. Hopefully it doesn't conflict with our many other account automations!

Greatest thing since popcorn!

The ParentFixer app truly is the greatest thing. It was simple and easier to install, and more importantly makes merging Accounts simple and easy, and worry free. No longer do I have to check the hierarchy and takes notes or make a screen shot just to be sure I restore the hierarchy after the merge. This little app has saved hours of time. Everyone one should have it.

Works exactly like it's supposed to and very easy to install

One of my favorite apps. Still can't understand why this isn't higher on Salesforce.com's list of fixes but very grateful to CRMFusion for making this available. It just does it's thing in the background and you don't have to worry about it. They could easily sell this app but I'm glad it's free.
