Top data migration tool!

Been working with the team on a mission-critical project that called for transferring specific records & their related children in to different sandboxes. I was impressed with the level of features, functionality & ease of use of this app. It made migrating data effortless. Creating projects, deleting and re-doing data migrations was also a snap, making for a low-stress effort. Perhaps more importantly, the team is highly knowledgable and very open to helping to ensure a good customer experience. I have worked with both the cloud & on-prem version, and can recommend both tools for critical data migration operations.

Great tool for moving data between orgs

We used SFApex for a major and complex data migration between 2 Salesforce orgs for 5 Salesforce applications and several hundred GB of data. The data mappings were complex and the data copy had to be 100% accurate. I can confidently say SFApex did a great job and for sure such data migration would not be possible using other tools. I recommend SFApex to anyone who needs to do data migration in Salesforce. I personally also found the SFApex team very helpful, responsive and flexible to me and my teams requirements.

Awesome, awesome tool!!

We've been using the full tool for several months now. I couldn't be happier!!! Populating data in a sandbox now only takes a few simple clicks. --All external ids are honored. --As many children as desired can be included in the data load. And, yes, it includes all activity information! --All parent/child relationships are honored. --Translations can easily be made on any field. For instance, we use this to break emails. Wherever an "@" is found, it is replaced with "@ASTRING." --All validation and workflow rules are turned off prior to loading data and turned back on after loading data. Wish I had that option years ago!!! -- All in all, populating data now only takes a few minutes compared with hours or a day or more without this tool. We've also used this to compare setups from one sandbox/org to another. Very nice! We're still getting used to this feature though. The tool allows for backing up your data. I haven't been able to get that to work yet but I'm sure it will work beautifully once I figure it out! All in all, I wish I had this tool years ago!

Excellent tool with fantastic support and reasonable price

I am using full version of this tool from last 6 month and I cannot imagine managing our monthly releases without using this tool. Tool not only does its main job of populating data in to sandboxes but also allows me to randomize data in sensitive fields . addition to populating data it allows me to take metadata backups, schedule data populations , create reusable templates . If you use this tool up to its full extent you can even schedule an automated metadata backup into version control like GIT. Addition to that support and training is excellent. Overall 5 starts ...

Unbelievably Good, a must for Apttus customers

This is an unsolicited review for this unbelievable application, as it has handled every use case we've thrown at it. We've been using Salesforce for ~10 years now, have ~3000 users (1000 active), and ~500 custom objects in our org, mostly due to customization and managed packages like Apttus, DocuSign, WorkIt, etc. Now we can really use the many 200MB developer sandboxes we have. I was happy to see that it disables validations/triggers/workflows before bulk loading, handles things like records owned by inactive users, fields we don't want to transfer, data that we want to convert during the transfer process, selective data loading, file attachments, selective related records, and many things we haven't event come across yet. It's elegant, and I think easier to use than other data loading apps. Support has been great - I've either gotten same day calls back, or emails hours later, though the app has been easy enough to use without support. I wish there were release notes for new releases and better advertising so we knew this option was available earlier on. Thanks, sfApex!

Simply the best app for transferring data

This application saved so much time transferring data from production to sandbox for testing. Quick, fast, and easy.

The app is great and the support is fantastic

As the volunteer 'database guy' for a small non-profit I can't afford to put a great deal of time into keeping things working. When faced with the prospect of importing several thousand records into our NPSP org I quickly realized that a mis-step could mean a lot of time spent fixing things, so I decided to test in a sandbox. Like many others I was dismayed to discover that sandboxes arrive at your desktop empty of data. A few minutes spent examining the process of manually tranferring data convinced me to look elsewhere for a solution. I found SFXOrgData and emailed the developers, inquiring about a non-profit discount. A couple of days later they replied with a free license. A few days later, I ran into some problems with my transfer and emailed again, explaining my issue and hoping that I'd hear back from somebody. I got much better than that: they emailed me back and suggested a conference to look at my issue together and see what was up. The next day I was able to spend nearly 3 hours with the app's lead developer, working through my data and, at the same time, getting a better understanding of it's comprehensive and powerful suite of capabilities. SFXOrgData has an impressively wide variety of functions, while still allowing basic operations to remain simple to carry out. I particularly recommend SFXOrgData to NPSP users, who often end up working in their production orgs because trying to get data into a sandbox seems too difficult and time-consuming. SFXOrgData, along with it's stellar support folks, can get you over this hurdle!

No-brainer, high value app

Our consulting firm recently used SFApex to do some testing prior to a Non-profit Starter Pack upgrade. There is no telling how long it would have taken us to move data from Production to Sandbox given all of the relationships we were working with. The small amount my client paid to use the app paid for itself dozens of times over vs. us having to manually migrate the data for testing. I can't recommend this tool highly enough.

Phenomenal product

Excellent tool for creating data sets for testing. Obfuscation of production data, and all relationships automatically handled. Saved my client weeks of custom development. Highly recommended.
