Great time Saver

This app saved me days of work and probably the best $30 I have ever spent! It does not capture evertyhing you need.. but it grabs the majority. I was able to produce a 380 page document, add a few bits and customise it in an hour. Thank you!!

Extremely useful if you have a requirement to create data model documentation

Every consulting or ISV partner, and every mid-large client I've ever worked at would have saved at least hundreds of hours with this tool. It allows you to create tome-level data documentation at the click of a button that is perfectly reflective of the current reality in Salesforce. If you work with an employer or clients who want data dictionary-style documentation, and you don't want to have to spend hours synching your documentation with reality, this is absolutely the app for you.

It is a simple and intuitive way to capture key documentation in Salesforce. A must for ever Salesforce Org.

Rocks for docs, great for devs and consultants

Drop My Dossier makes org documentation simple and intuitive. Creating a new document about functionality deployed into production could not be simpler with this app. It doesn't catch everything, but gets the user so much data in so few clicks that it doesn't detract from how awesome this is. Thanks for the feedback Roger. We have focused on the most requested elements to start so the output should have most elements people require. There will always be a little bit of work to make the document perfect but Drop my Dossier will still saves hours of documentation work. The S P Keasey team will continue to add new system elements based on the highest requested elements first.

Time saver!

Drop my Dossier has been a perfect for the team to show changes in our status meetings. I have always had to document the changes I have made in the system for the stakeholders in the company which took me hours a month. Now I can just click a button to get all the fields on my objects into a Word Doc.

This is in response to Matt Lacey's comment. I am interested in using Test Drive but the Ts&Cs talk about fees and payments which seems entirely inappropriate. The package seems to have stopped being maintained, given the last update was in 2015. I was wondering if the apex documentation is generated from apexdoc for the classes?

Posting to this thread, because I'd like to make a comment, but not have it affect the rating... Positive reviews are a big plus, but I also like to see how the app will work. The "Watch a Demo" is cute, innovative, and an attention grabber, but it doesn't give me the information I need to make a decision. Please consider updating the promo video to show how the tool works. thanks!

Great App for logging your config/coding, and exporting it to a document. Ok if we have a small Org with a custom object and 2 custom fields its easy to manage...but in any larger Org, or one you have taken over from a previous administrator/developer this is great to show you 'where are we at!'. There are improvements needed, like extending to validations and workflows, but I still think it deserves a top rating.
