The Soapbox Real Time Database Connector allows Force.com developers to connect and manipulate data in-real time from the Salesforce.com platform by calling a single line of code. This solution connects to your on-premise database(s) via web services and allows developers to focus on the solution and not the plumbing between Salesforce.com and your on-premise systems. We provide a cost effective alternative to the current Lighting Connector option for you organization. Want to view an accounts related AR invoices from your ERP system? No problem. Want to create a service request in your customer service application from Salesforce.com? The SOAPbox can handle that too. These libraries allow a developer to create whatever solution they wish. Since the solution is native APEX you can use these libraries in triggers, batches, visual force pages, and anywhere else APEX can be called. The SOAPbox handles all of the web service calls and results parsing between your Salesforce instance and your database(s).
