Additional Details

Auto Fix Mentions is a simple app that detects broken @-mentions in Chatter and fixes them by attempting to find the user or group you're trying to mention. The corrected mention gets posted as a comment (it would be even nicer to fix the mention within the post, but that's not possible due to technical limitations). If there are multiple people in your organization with the name that you're trying to mention, Auto Fix Mentions can't determine which of them you're referring to. Ambiguous mentions aren't corrected. Note that the broken mentions are typically caused by copying and pasting text from an unfinished post to another. With Auto Fix Mentions, your co-workers will still be notified about your post. This is a free, unmanaged app by Salesforce Labs.
