Overall I feel this is a great app. Only issue I'm having is with this feature: Administrators can add fields to the task card header and details sections via field sets It states that there is an existing field set I can edit, only this in not the case. Any way to solve this?

So close......

So far so good, unfortunately there is an apparent desktop limitation that I cannot figure out. When loaded on sales console some desktops fail to load My Task List, all we get is a grey screen..... Behaviour appears on chrome browsers....Same user can login to another machine with the same version of chrome and have no issue..... It's a shame because it is a very useful tool.....

Invalid tabStyle 'MTL_My_Task_List__tab' specified.

We began using this in our console setup, and it has been fantastic! The ability to run our individual sales campaigns via task related notes, all in a single pane of glass, has made our day-to-day much more efficient! The only problem I have run into recently, is the Task List has stopped loading our tasks completely. Instead, we are receiving this error message: "Invalid tabStyle 'MTL_My_Task_List__tab' specified." where the tasks usually generate. We would LOVE to continue using this app, but currently have to decommission it until we can fix this issue. Please let me know if you have any advice on fixes for this, or any other way to find support help! Thanks so much! Cameron

Uninstalled & Reinstalled, and it successfully fixed my issue here. Believe it may have had something to do with my attempt to edit the "My Task List" Tab Name, as I only encountered issues after this.

Test method issue

After test and user acceptance I uploaded to production last week. Uploading code today we ran into issue when the test classes ran. MTL_myTaskList_test had an issue: Class.MTL_myTaskList_test.myTaskListTestMethod: line 159, column 1 System.AssertException: Assertion Failed: Expected: true, Actual: false This is line 159: System.assertEquals(true,updatedTask2.IsHighPriority); Commented it out for now.

Nice tool

Nice small tool for creating a quick agent overview for agent tasks. It replaces their paper todo list which now can also be supplemented by the system (auto create tasks by process builder).

Disappears in Chrome

We actually get a lot of good use out of this tool, but more and more increasingly, our agents are reporting a strange issue when applying any of the filters or sorts (I even experience it myself). Whenever we go to apply a filter or a sort, the entire application disappears... goes grey. You cannot see any buttons or the list; it's just gone. I have noticed that it is only happening in Chrome (for only some users), and only in my standard browsing window -- it works fine in Chrome Incognito. This is pretty unfortunate because we highly prefer Chrome. Don't know if anyone monitors this anymore, but any assistance or ideas would be great!

We are running into the same problem...were you able to find a fix or workaround for this? When I use it in Salesforce Classic view it logs me off every time when i select any filters. When I use it in Salesforce Console view it doesn't render anything when i select any filters. please help!

Needs to work on lower salesforce editons

This looks like an amazing app, unfortunately it's not available for group edition. Can we expect that any time soon? Maybe professional edition at least?

I'd be keen to see this app for the professional edition

Ah, understood. My Task List has filters, but also does not yet support activity list views. That's another great suggestion for the roadmap. Thank you.

Thanks, but the main reason I can't use native sf1 tasks is because I have many activity list views that I use to filter tasks and none of them are viewable in the app

Hi Derek. The reason that Group and Professional editions are not supported is that the package is unmanaged and uses an Apex controller. Apex is not supported in GE and PE. If we get enough interest from GE & PE users, we may consider releasing a managed package version of the app as well. In the mean time, you may want to try out the new Tasks functionality in the Salesforce1 mobile apps. With new row level actions on Tasks, you can quickly manage your tasks in the Salesforce1 mobile app. See this YouTube video for a quick example: http://youtu.be/EqZRrJjvgNw?t=1m39s

Buttons

I need to choose which buttons can appear to users on the My Task List - Card Details. This change is possible?

In order for this to be useful I would also need the ability to select what buttons appear AND also have the ability to create custom buttons, or override the standard ones like you can in the standard UI.

Understood. Thanks again for the feedback!

Thanks for reply Mike. Unfortunately without this possibility the tool does not meet the needs of my company. I need to work with user permissions on the available buttons. But, thanks for the info!

Hi Ana, admins can currently choose which fields are displayed in the card header and card details, but not which buttons can appear. This is something we will consider for a future release. Thank you for the feedback.

User Guide

This sounds like a great app to add on and our organization downloaded it to the our platform. However it indicated to read the user guide for the final steps of set up and when I go to click on it, the link appears to be broken. I have not been able to finalize the steps of getting it up and running.

Hi Katie. We're very sorry for the inconvenience. I have re-uploaded the document directly to the AppExchange rather than linking to it. Please give the Users Guide link on the Details page another shot and let us know if you have any trouble.

Hi Katie, thanks for the feedback. Are you clicking on the Users Guide link on the Details page of the AppExchange listing? That URL seems to be working for me, pasted here for verification: https://na15.salesforce.com/sfc/p/i0000000kzx8/a/i0000000Hit0/i2SwncT2WcugyA73VVbHY_Hy9aRBcEWpvZVrVYgGdL0= If there is a broken link elsewhere, please let me know!
