Great App for Hiring
We needed a solution to manage a scaling company that allowed us to post positions on our careers page. SocialHire is perfect. It allows us to set up hiring approval processes in Salesforce and manage our talent pipeline. Support is there when you need it. Highly recommend it.
Great app for Staffing Agencies !
We manage our CRM and Recruitment activities on SocialHire. Great for managing distributed teams. Implementation was smooth
Not great support
We have installed the app to test it. The support was really helpful however whenever we told them the app was not a fit for us, the support became just absent. we need support to uninstall the app, we get may errors when trying to uninstall the package. no one is really helpful. it is a shame.
Easy to use application for physician recruitment
Girish with Social Hire was very helpful and easy to work with on the implementation process. We got up and running in a week compared to other recruitment systems that I had deployed before.
A good app...with a catch
I did extensive investigations prior to using this app, from speaking with the people at cm-focus, as well as with reps galore through salesforce, and ALL said my professional level license will work with the Social Hire app...and it does. But here's the catch: if you have the professional level license, social hire will work on the back end of salesforce if you are manually tracking applicants, but it will NOT integrate with your company website. Wait. What? Yes. The social hire app will not integrate with your website on the professional level license of salesforce. There isn't any literature on the social hire site regarding this, which obviously, was frustrating and ended up costing me more money as I had to upgrade to the Enterprise edition. Now, in all reality, we probably could have just went with the force.com license, which is WAY cheaper than any of the salesforce licenses (of course none of the salesforce reps recommended this), but salesforce doesn't let you downgrade the license so we had to upgrade to enterprise..CHA-CHING! (to get FULL functionality of the social hire app on your website, you have to have access to 'sites' within the 'setup' menu). Now, aside from ALL that, this app is G R E A T and their customer support (Pradip & Girish) is even better. You would be foolish to pay other companies (up to $300 a month) to implement an employee tracking system, plus with salesforce, the ability to use Chatter is a team communication game-changer, in my opinion. Some of you may be using your own developer, but personally, I would just budget the $$ and use the guys at Social Hire to do it. Side note: make sure your developer understands CSS and responsiveness (web/tablet/mobile); not going to make sense to use this if it only works within an iframe for desktop but not mobile or tablet. The only thing I wish this app had: an email notification when a new applicant is submitted. Right now I have to check salesforce eve

Frank - You can create a workflow to send out emails when a applicant applies for a position. This would give you the flexibility of defining the template of the email been sent.
Terrible
I installed SocialHire and it did not automatically install the Candidate Objects for candidate tracking. Which is listed a s a free feature with install. I contacted Support for SocialHIre and they stated that they could help me install it but would charge me $500. What would be the purpose of a Free App then?

You really wouldnt need to add candidates tab manually now. The latest release does include it by default

It did it again. Here is what I intended to post. "I left off LESS THAN SIGN and GREAT THAN SIGN the at the begin and end of each... See standard apex formatting if you have questions.

Pradip, Thanks for the installation guide. The candidate object is included and I found it after following the setup guide. The package does not include a Tab for candidates. I created a Candidate Tab myself by doing the following: Setup | Develop | Pages. Click New. Just type in this: apex:page apex:enhancedList customizable="true" type="CMFSH__Candidates__c" height="500"/ /apex:page "I left off the at the begin and end of each line of apex above. You will need to add it. It was causing an error in this comment post" Name it say - Candidates. Save it. Now, Setup | Create | Tabs. From the Visualforce Tabs section, click New. Select the Candidates [Candidates]. Also label it Candidates. Next. Specify the Profiles which will have this tab accessible. Next. Specify the Apps that will have this tab visible. Save. Now you have a candidates tab.

The same thing happened to me. The Candidate Object did not install. Where do I find the install guide? There is not a link to it in the details section on the appexchange listing as with most apps.
Sorry you are having trouble with app. We provide the application and the install guide at no cost to the customer and an admin/developer at a company can install it. If you need help to install the app it is paid as well as if you need ongoing support. It's indicated in appexchange listing. We would love to support every client, but we dont have resources to do free debugging and support for especially people reaching out to us from public domains like gmail.com.
A good app for free
We have our career site built using socialhire, which means we could manage all out positions on salesforce rather than maintaining it on different systems, We could also post into linkedin right from our salesforce screen
Decent app for Free
We were looking for a free app for our startup to handle our ATS and this app does this job for us.
Nice App
Like the linkenIn integration to groups, can post the position directly from salesforce
Mahdi, The uninstall and install is done usually by the system admin. We don't make changes in the production org on items/triggers or permission sets as it might have other consequences. We are not a free admin support service. In this instance we did look at your install on 3 instances of salesforce as a courtesy.
