Solves a significant problem with copying Parent info to a child object
The tool solves one big problem - copying information from a parent object to a child object with no additional coding. It allows one to map fields, or set up initial values with gives some flexibility. In particular this solved my issue of needing to know Parent object values in a Related Lookup filter. The performance has not been an issue. The set up requires one to very, very literally follow instructions. I also could not find documentation on how to assign a Parent ID to a lookup field in a child object. Through experimentation I discovered how to do that. This can be a powerful tool for Declarative Development. I could see a little more polish being applied at some point in the future.
Amazingly Quick to implement and rollout!
This tool is very useful for the developers and administrators and saves several hours of time spent on writing triggers to copy data from one object to another. It will be specially beneficial to the business orgs with ever-changing object schema.
