Touch Contacts makes it easier for email marketing integrations to work properly when Contacts should be refreshed when Accounts are edited. Whenever an Account record is edited, updates (but no changes) are made to associated Contact records too.

Highlights

Every account update triggers their related contacts to also be touched (updated)

All triggers and processes related to the contact fire when the contact is touched (updated)

Person Accounts are excluded from the touch operation as the last modified date of the contact record element of the Person Account is updated whenever the person account is updated.
