OSI is a leader in Naval Integrated Navigation and Tactical Systems. We manage a global customer base with lengthy and complex sales cycles as well as simpler solutions with faster sales cycles. It’s a complex CRM picture. At OSI, we were using a CRM to manage our business development and sales, however, it was difficult to use so instead we turned to Excel, PowerPoint and other similar products. This created substantial manual effort to maintain data and reporting. We needed a way to manage the business development cycle and sales pipeline in a much more effective way. We also needed a CRM that would work with our global customer base. We needed the ability to manage our business development process and sales pipeline including tracking deals, trade show successes, work in multiple currencies, automate our detailed approval path, track products and link multiple opportunities to a single pursuit. We turned to Salesforce and Creative SparQ. With our customized Salesforce instance everything is significantly easier to do. Salesforce is an impressive system and it has transformed the way we look at data and manage our complex business development effort. I can now sit with our President/CEO, and ask how far he wants to look into the future because now we can see it all. The pipeline reporting and forecasting has hugely improved. Starting at 35,000 foot view and swooping into the detail is now possible on a single platform. OSI now has a single source of truth. OSI thoroughly enjoyed working with the Creative SparQ team. Following recommendations from former colleagues, numerous interviews with other potential implementation partners, and my own personal research, engaging Creative SparQ to support our CRM implementation was the best decision I could have made for our company. We engaged Creative SparQ to transform our sales processes on a global scale, across 5 lines of business, 3 countries and 85 users. During the 3 month project, Creative SparQ met every milestone, delivered 100% of our requirements and came in on budget. We met Creative SparQ through the Calgary Salesforce User Group. We signed up through the User Group's Free-Lancer program and Creative SparQ Inc. was assigned to RCA. They reviewed our Salesforce implementation and business model and gave us insightful direction on a number of key issues that were preventing us from fully leveraging the platform. They helped us fix those issues by designing better solutions with the pre-existing, standard objects and functionality rather than utilizing our custom object solution which was not meeting our needs.
