Apex error / Can we have the Pause feature on the Autoplay of the slides?

Getting an error when adding the carousel component on the page- Error: Uncaught Assertion Failed!: no client action by name c.handleDataChange : false Callback failed: apex://lightngcarousel.SS_CarouselController/ACTION$getSlidesByCarouselName Expected feature on carousel- > Pause the slide when hover over or provide an option to pause the slide. (we are using the Auto play property, but it should pause when we are viewing the current slide) > Do not move the slide to next if we a video is playing on the video banner. (Autoplay feature does not pause it when video is being played)

Hello, We are trying to use the button to call the LWC/VF pages in carousel slides and currently passing page link as URL and its working fine but is there a way on click of button it will open in a new Window?

Hi, I have the same query regarding the Lightning Carousel and Banner app. We've identified a few Apex classes within the managed package that are using an API version below 45. Given Salesforce’s ICU Locale update requirements, we’re concerned about potential impacts and would like to ensure compliance. As these classes are part of a managed package, we're unable to upgrade the API versions ourselves. Any guidance or response from the publisher on how to address this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am looking for some guidance with the following error that i'm receiving when trying to set up the newer version of the carousel in my prod site. We have the older version of this package in our sandboxes and have not received this error before. This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. Hello. Here are the last update that I've received: Greetings of the day! Below is the latest update: Lightning Carousel Banner Unavailable Due to Maintenance : Hello everyone! Making a formal post to provide you as much info about the Lightning Carousel Banner issue, and related updates. As many are aware, Lightning Carousel Banner is currently unavailable on AppExchange and we are working to get it back asap. Luckily, it was resubmitted for Security Review this past week, and I will let you all know as soon as it passes! 1.What happened to Lightning Carousel Banner? What happened is that the packaging org was deleted, which makes the package unavailable for installation. To resolve this, the solution and its' components must be repackaged and resubmitted for security review. 2.Why is this taking so long? So, my teammate and I actually did repackage the solution using the original source code and submitted for security review, but it failed. Lightning Carousel Banner was created in 2017, and many of the components were outdated. Many of them are no longer compliant with our current security standards. We had no other option but to rebuild/convert many of the components to newer technologies. On top of this, our full time roles and responsibilities are prioritized first. We manage the Salesforce Labs program, while individual apps are normally managed by their original creators and builders. 3.Can I get the source code for this app? Not yet. Remember that the the original source code failed security review and is unfit for customer usage. We will open source the solution as soon as the package passes security review, and is green lit for customer use. 4.Whats next? Right now, the only option now is to wait until it passes. In the meantime, there are a few similar, free apps that customers can leverage, which I've linked below: Lightning Buddy: Designed for In-App training, but you can extend the app beyond that. Customers can create a variety of pop up messages including carousels, rich text, videos, and welcome mats in modal windows. Cards Carousel- Create a rotating carousel of cards with images. Super Image Slider- Create a slideshow of images and Youtube videos with LWC. Softsquare Lightning Image Slider Quickly setup image carousel from attachments. James, I have the same issue. Looking at an org that does have the package, the AssetAction object doesn't seem to exist. Looks like this is a Salesforce Billing object. When I contacted Salesforce support, they said they couldn't assist with Salesforce Labs apps. Islenho, do you have a contact, or was Salesforce support more helpful to you than it was to me? :)

Looks like the package has been rebuilt, however still having an issue with installation with the following error: PermissionSet(Lightning_Carousel_Banner) In field: object - no CustomObject named AssetAction found. Is anyone else have this issue and know a fix?

Very useful

I found this a great component for my community! However, Im facing some issues displaying a youtube video, is there anything else that needs to be done for the video to appear? Also, I would like to remove the border of the carousel slider, is there a way to do this?

Hard to master

Very handy tool to display content in an experience. It took me quite a while to figure out how to display pictures from a static resource. No idea how to display content from outher sources yet. The documentation is definately missing some information here. Even though i added access to all Apex Classes and Read Access to all Objects to the Guest User Profile of the experience user, the slides of the carousel are not displayed. -2 stars for incomplete documentation +1 star for the good custimization possibilities

Easy and Effective

Our use case: display new information on home page layouts to internal users. I downloaded this with the idea of using the auto scroll carousel feature. Ultimately, we went with just a few images and no auto scroll, but I decided to keep this app because it provides a cleaner and less complicated way to display images on lightning pages than using a rich text editor component or formula field. During testing, I tried out the video banner. It was easy to set up and looked very cool. Some updates to the customization options when adding the component to lightning pages and further simplifying the UI would bump this to 5 stars for me.
