Blows Away the Native Salesforce Component!
7Summits Leaderboard Plus is clearly a better choice over the rudimentary native Salesforce component. Not only does it look nicer, but it also provides a lot more flexibility when it comes to what reputation data to display as well as certain aspects of the component style. For example, you can select any combination of reputation data points (e.g. rank, level, number of posts, comments, and points, etc.) AND give them your own labels that better fit your Community. The size and shape of Badge and User icons can be modified. The overall height of the component can be set in a separate field. As a bonus, you can further customize the look and feel of the component by adding a custom class. By contrast, the native component is static and inflexible. It comes with its three preset mutually exclusive choices: “Levels and Points”, “Topic Knowledge and Points”, and “Topic Knowledge and "Last Active" and gives the Admin zero control over its appearance. However, where it really falls short is the maximum number of users that can be displayed (10). 7Summits Leaderboard Plus lets you display up to 100 users, which can be quite handy, especially for larger Communities with a lot of members.
