I use this fantastic little app in every Salesforce implementation via an unmanaged package which is now more than 130 implementations. I use the Flow version to generate email notifications that otherwise would be to much of a pain to create as Email Alerts when managing this many orgs and of course it solves the major Salesforce challenge of not supporting cross-object merge tags plus the ability to email non-salesforce users has come in handy as well.

Simple and Effective

I volunteer with a small non-profit and needed a quick and easy solution to allow us to send template emails to external recipients with merge data from related objects. I was pretty surprised to discover SFDC's limitations in this area, and wasted days looking for workarounds that didn't involve complex workarounds or writing custom code. Luckily, I found this app and was able to rapidly build out the rest of the project and go live. We ran into one small issue and sent an email to their support box. Brian quickly jumped in and provided a solution that worked perfectly! A huge thank you for this free app, as well to Brian for the fast and great support!

Simply Superb

This is very helpful to sending emails by including merge fields. I have a requirement to add email attachment when i am sending emails. Is there any possibility to attach documents as a attachment

Great and simple solution for Cross Object Workflow E-mail Alerts

Stumbled across this app to do Cross Object Workflow E-mail Alerts (which is NOT supported by Salesforce). Wow! What an easy solution to solve the issue. Thank you guys for providing this app for free!

Excellent utility

This app makes sending emails from with Process Builder very easy. With support for HTML email body and related object merge fields, it is far simpler to get up and running with than the standard Salesforce functionality. I can wholeheartedly recommend it and the support team for it were very responsive and helpful with a configuration issue I had.

Great app, fills important functionality very nicely

This is a great app which fills the gap when you want to send out an email from Process Builder or Flow. Without this app you would need to create an email template and then an email alert, just so you could use it from PB or Flow. Sometimes you just want to send out a simple email with a little bit of text, and this app makes it much easier. You call the action directly, tell it the subject, body, recipient, etc., and done! No need to fuss around. Their support was great as well - I contacted them with a question and they got back to me right away with a clear and helpful answer. Highly recommend!

Get's the job done in a pinch for all types of messaging that Email Alerts don't have a reference for, great tool for admins.

This App is a Must Have!

I love that this can be used in the flow builder and process builder! Very quick and easy to use. Give you the ability to specify html in the body of the email, reference cross object fields, and create a task to show the email was sent. The only thing that is needed is the ability to specify a from address that the email is sent from. Anyway to do this currently or will this be implemented soon???

Love this app

This is a great quick way to generate emails pulling data from parent records. Is it possible to apply a format for referenced date fields?
