By connecting two separate tools--Learning Stream for online registrations and Canvas for online courses--with Salesforce, Lingk connected the dots that allow us to provide a streamlined user experience and to capture the complete user cycle for analysis and marketing purposes. This saves staff time and increases our ability to serve learners and partners. Implementation was efficient, and communication was clear. Lingk has been a terrific partner for leveraging data in new ways.

Lingk is our go-to for Salesforce Integrations

I’ve developed 28 integrations and 4 one-time conversions using Lingk. For 22 of them I was able to use their PeopleSoft to Salesforce speed wizard and the other 10 had requirements complex enough that I wrote custom recipes (programs) for them. It’s pretty easy to write custom recipes once you get into it. I’ve used other integration tools and this one is faster and easier. Almost all of our integrations are feeds from PeopleSoft Student to Salesforce. One is a feed from Workday HR to Salesforce. We are live with it all and it’s nice and stable. We have more integrations coming and Lingk is our go-to platform for all Salesforce integrations. We went with Lingk because: 1. A large chunk of our integrations could be done with a speed wizard. (Which generates the code for you.) To change it later you just call up the wizard configuration, modify the mappings and regenerate. 2. The ones we couldn’t do with a wizard were still fairly quick to develop. It’s easy to learn how to write recipes, especially if you have a sql background. 3. The integrations could be built and maintained by someone on our Salesforce project team, who is close to the requirements. The folks at Lingk have been amazingly supportive and responsive. It feels like they just work for me even though I know they support other customers.

Great platform

Lingk is a robust integration platform that is easy to use and facilitates the creation of new integrations quickly. The built-in version control and the ability to monitor the inner workings of the platform for debugging purposes are especially useful. The staff members are helpful, as well, and available to answer questions or walk through any setup issues. All in all, it’s a great platform to work on at a great price and a great company to work with.

Collaborative and Knowledgeable

We hired Lingk to integrate Salesforce with the learning management system Canvas and with our third party course registration system, Learning Stream. From the beginning, everyone at Lingk has been a creative and engaged collaborator. In particular, Dale has been fantastic to work with and is the developer/magician/problem-solver who brought the integration to life. The integration has immensely improved our business processes and cut down on manual work for staff. As the first online degree program at our University, this integration will serve as a model for others.

The Missing Lingk in Higher Ed

Working with the Lingk platform to perform Salesforce integration for Higher Education ERP software has made my life much easier. The ability to create recipes that execute SOQL statements and be able to pull that data into the ability to perform SQL statements within the Lingk Recipe development is what makes Lingk's platform my go to for Salesforce to Ellucian Colleague integration. Simply connect your Lingk environment to your Salesforce account and you're off and running. I highly recommend to Higher Ed clients utilizing Salesforce.
