Sort, filter and page data in Lightning Experience

Overview

Component that allows you to sort and filter data within the Lightning Experience. Use as a replacement for a Related List, or create a new grid that shows results from a custom query.

  • Sortable, filterable related lists with a consistent look and feel to native Lightning experience. Supports Field Level Security and Platform Encryption.

  • Simple configuration with two modes: either use fieldsets and relationships to quickly create new lists on Record pages, or use advanced config to execute complex queries.

  • Action support: Create new actions that allows users to invoke actions on other components

The Enhanced Lightning Grid component allows you to create a richer related list capability with support for sorting, filtering and pagination of data. Sort and filter on any column for rapid access to the record you are looking for. The system administrator can also apply a server side filter: eg to only show open opportunities on an account. Pagination is done server side for fast client performance with large data sets. In addition, you can configure row level or grid level actions which raise Lightning Events - which can be handled by the included ObjectManager, or by any other component on the page. Use this to create a new record, link out to google, or any other global event. Fully styled with the SLDS, its look and feel is consistent with the standard Lightning Experience. Note - known issue with IE/Edge - will be fixed in future release
