Blackthorn Events: Event Registration and Management for Salesforce

Great support and app

Blackthorn has helped us streamline our event management in many ways. The ability to customize the registration pages has helped us improve our branding of our events, as well as the email templates for confirmations, etc. Where Blackthorn really shines is in its support. I always get a prompt and clear response, and can schedule a 15 or 30 minute to help get my question answered/walk me through a process in real time.

I had a question regarding the upcoming enhanced MFA requirements, and Kathy was quick to provide a straightforward and easy-to-understand answer. What I appreciated even more was that she proactively brought another issue to my attention and suggested a workaround I could use right away. Flexible Event Management, Fully Integrated with Salesforce

Blackthorn Events is flexible enough to handle everything from simple to quite complex events. Being native to Salesforce is a huge plus — it gives us great reporting and dashboard capabilities right out of the box. The registration process for attendees is smooth, and the Stripe integration for payments is a real win, making the whole process seamless.

Great time saver resulting in good ROI

Before Blackthorn we had reached the limit of what could be administered manually. Like any system, it can take a while to implement properly and compromises on some processes are needed to work with and not against the software design. Implementation support and post production support has actually been very good - typically highly responsive in my experience. As there is a front end and back end that evolves continuously, be prepared to periodically keep your version up to date to avoid issues.

Good app to organize our Events. Event planning and Attendee registration. Great supportteam that answered my questions. You have to take time to get to know it, but when you do its good working with it.

Great Support Experience

I had a question in regards as to why Page Designer wasn't showing up in our dev/production orgs. I created a ticket with Blackthorn and Kori was able to help us out with our issue and even caught another issue occurring that I wasn't aware of. We were able to resolve the issue in a timely manner, thanks to Kori's help.

Wonderful Experience with Blackthorn

We’re currently implementing Blackthorn as our event management platform, and the experience has been excellent—especially the ease of creating events, having data flow directly into our alumni profiles, and enabling QR code check-in, among other features. This product will save our department days, if not weeks, of manual effort. I recently reached out to support for help embedding events into our website, and the detailed, personalized guidance I received was outstanding. Unlike many customer service teams that rely on scripted responses, Blackthorn’s support felt thoughtful and tailored to our needs.
