Blackthorn Events: Salesforce-Native Event Management, Payments & Messaging

Great time saver resulting in good ROI

Before Blackthorn we had reached the limit of what could be administered manually. Like any system, it can take a while to implement properly and compromises on some processes are needed to work with and not against the software design. Implementation support and post production support has actually been very good - typically highly responsive in my experience. As there is a front end and back end that evolves continuously, be prepared to periodically keep your version up to date to avoid issues.

Good app to organize our Events. Event planning and Attendee registration. Great supportteam that answered my questions. You have to take time to get to know it, but when you do its good working with it.

Great Support Experience

I had a question in regards as to why Page Designer wasn't showing up in our dev/production orgs. I created a ticket with Blackthorn and Kori was able to help us out with our issue and even caught another issue occurring that I wasn't aware of. We were able to resolve the issue in a timely manner, thanks to Kori's help.

Wonderful Experience with Blackthorn

We’re currently implementing Blackthorn as our event management platform, and the experience has been excellent—especially the ease of creating events, having data flow directly into our alumni profiles, and enabling QR code check-in, among other features. This product will save our department days, if not weeks, of manual effort. I recently reached out to support for help embedding events into our website, and the detailed, personalized guidance I received was outstanding. Unlike many customer service teams that rely on scripted responses, Blackthorn’s support felt thoughtful and tailored to our needs.

We found what we were looking for in a native event management app

We've just finished the onboarding process with Blackthorn Events and it has been nothing short of our reasonably high expectations. Michael and the sales team were amazing in working with us to understand our needs and provide us with all the information we needed to make our decision about this product. Jared was an amazing onboarding resource and was so available for every question we had while we were getting our first few events up and running. One of the criteria we were looking for in a product was a company that was invested in improving it's product based on user feedback and they do this in spades. There are numerous channels for feedback and support and their roadmap indicates a clear commitment to delivering on highest need requests. The native functionality was a high priority for us and so far, it's been a dream working directly in Salesforce for all our event planning work. We are pleased with the overall functionality of the product and we highly recommend this app.

Super-charged tool

To use a car analogy, Blackthorn has a lot under the hood. It is powered not just by a deeply intuitive platform within Salesforce, but by an incredibly-responsive support team that doesn't just keep it running... they keep adding to the engine package. Maybe spinning rims are next, but Blackthorn is more than worth the ride.

It makes my life easier

I love that Blackthorn Events is in Salesforce! It makes turning contacts into attendees, creating events, and running reports super easy. The setup wizard is a breeze, and the support team is amazing! very supportive and fast!
