Great tool

It work incredible, i read about Competitor account record type issue, so before installing prepared a couple of record types to account. It works just fine, was all about i was searching for so, great job!

Do you happen to have a local copy of the setup instructions, by any chance? The Quip link no longer works.

Perfect Solution, much better than using Competitor picklists

Love this solution, especially the dashboard/reporting KPIs. Much better than using Competitor picklists because you can use Competitor Account records to store details about them, their products/services, and sell sheets. And users can create new Competitor records themselves (if you give them access to the record type). **Note: Make sure you already have at least one Account record type, like "Customer", "Prospect", etc., before installing, or you will get an error installing.

Cannot Uninstall App

This app is bugged. It creates only "Competitors" Accounts instead of normal accounts. Users cannot create accounts anymore. Difficult to uninstall ; you have to empty the recycle bin and desactivate all related processes & workflows

hello does this app receives a new release? its confusing on the page, it says its listed since 1/30/2018 but latest release was before the list date back in 2017?? also are there any other experiences with that app? we are desperately looking for an intelligent way to have a competitor component in lightning which we then can do all the reports on etc. competitors are really missing in lightning. and the out of the box competitor section in classic is not really sophisticated with the very basic free text fields (not going to work for analysis and reporting) thanks salesforcelab team to give an update here....

Sorry to hear you've experienced frustration with this app. The problem with account creation may have occurred if you didn't have any other account record types setup before installing. Creating a 'customer' record type in your accounts and enabling it for your user profiles would allow you to choose when creating accounts between a competitor or a customer.
