Extentia was engaged to build and maintain our product. This included leveraging both Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud. In addition, the team built a fully configurable mobile solution based on React Native and Salesforce SDK. We had a very productive, open and collaborative relationship with the Extentia team. They were part of our business and not considered as a supplier of services. They collaborated with us effectively beyond their role of developing and maintaining our solution as a true business partner. Their people are highly skilled, and we had only 1 person on the team that did not align with us as a team and how we collaborate and Extentia worked with us to transition a new person that had the right skills and fit for our culture and collaborative engagement. Extentia was hired to develop a Salesforce version of our existing standalone app for clinical research. The Salesforce version runs in Health Cloud. Extentia had very good working knowledge of Health Cloud and its core objects. Extentia completed the work to our satisfaction. There was a disconnect between how objects in our app mapped to Health Cloud's existing objects or whether they should be developed as custom objects. This created a delay in the schedule but Extentia stood behind their commitment and completed the project to our expectations. Extentia helped with the transition from development to product listing, full production release and our first update. Extentia was always prompt in replies and made it easy to work with them even with the time zone differences. We recommend in depth discussions with your consulting partner about how the objects in your existing app or product spec map to Salesforce objects and whether that mapping is appropriate or whether a custom object is more appropriate for your use case and customer experience. Your spec should be as detailed as possible but you should also go through it collaboratively with the consulting partner in order to reduce risk and ensure that you're getting the product you're expecting. A detailed spec and collaboration throughout the project are key to a successful outcome.
