LiveArea, a Merkle Company - Experience-led digital commerce

We hired LiveArea (by Merkle) for multiple projects over the years. Currently, they are our ongoing managed services provider. In addition, we use them as a way to implement constant improvements to our websites. The Merkle Team has been responsive, collaborative, helpful, personable and professional. Since engaging the MerkleTeam in November 2021, our Company has realized significant improvements in our website design which has translated into increased revenues. Our Company is engaged with Merkle to support our SFCC and SFMC needs and is extremely pleased with the partnership.

We approached LiveArea to help us move newly acquired brands from the Shopify platform to the SFRA version of Salesforce Commerce Cloud. We had existing websites on the SFRA platform. Our goal was to maintain the existing appearance and functionality of the Shopify websites and improve them with the customizations we had on the SFRA platform. The LiveArea team showed great project management and platform expertise throughout the whole project. I was impressed by their ability to set expectations, identify risks, and keep the project on time and on-budget. We also utilize LiveArea as a managed services partner, which has helped us keep knowledge about the project close-by for future enhancements.

Live Area managed most of the Commerce Cloud build due to lack of internal resources. The team did a great job delivering our EMEA rollout consisting of 13 converted countries and 2 new countries. Due to their efforts, the go-live was very successful and the business owners in our EMEA region were extremely satisficed with the outcome.

This has been a successful engagement. Live Area has done a good job providing comprehensive services that augment our inhouse engineering team. Overall they have provided reliable delivery of feature needs. We have had some challenges merging their teams processes into our group to truly create a single team operating at peak efficiency. However their leadership makes strong efforts to operate in a way that out team would like to be organized.
