Lots of potential, but misses the landing.

I'm not sure if this app is still being worked on, but I really hope someone comes back to it. It's got a lot of potential, but the major issues it has really prevent it from being implemented and adopted in my org. 1. Once measures and methods have been drafted, the text gets truncated and there's no way to read the full entry. It cuts off after about 12 characters on my screen. 2. There is a related list that I can add to my users' Chatter profiles, but it doesn't populate with the users' created V2MOM. There is also a lightning component, but instead of showing the users' completed V2MOM it just shows the window for creating a V2MOM. 3. Functionally, there is no way to review drafted, unpublished V2MOMs between managers and direct reports. This is a missed opportunity to create alignment within teams.

Cannot Translate UI with Using Translation Workbench

Is it only intended for English user? If so, that's quite unfortunate. I tried to translate the whole custom fields into Japanese, but it did not work...

Great framework, questionable implementation

Inspired by Chapter 9 of the Trailblazer book I installed this app hoping for an easy tool for crafting my first V2MOM. While declaring Visions and Values are straight-forward, incorporating the Methods, Measure and Obstacles is where the interface starts to elude me. While I like the relational twist of combining Measures and Obstacles together as a child of a Method, where I found the app falls short is in the presentation of the finished V2MOM where • the description of each Method is partially displayed requiring a click to view the entire message • the large tile for each measure consumes much real-estate but provides little on-screen insight without first clicking-in to the Measure. • The in-app commenting (Chatter) of Measures disappears into a black hole onto the underlying object with no intuitive way to view the Object or Chatter • The Fixed Application Navigation with stock Home Page of limited value is inflexible and as App Manager I'd drop it if I could (but at least Users can push the Home tab to the right). I haven't dived into the Team functionality which seems where the focus of this app may been placed, but the usability of authoring, viewing and collaborating on V2MOM which I hoped for when installing the app failed to materialize.

Good methodology

I worked at Salesforce so was already a fan of V2MOM. The app is good and allows nice ability to capture and align goals/objectives. There are a good number of functional gaps though. Which I custom built out. Gaps 1. No standard reporting to view progress across teams and regions. I custom built reports and dashboards to provide visibility 2. There should be a “manager review” component where the manager and report meet at the end of the quarter/year to review and assess performance. 3. UI for measures is good for inputting but not for review. The measure name gets cut off by the tile so you have to open each measure to see what it really is. 4. Kanban style UI would be awesome 5. Need ability to quantify “size” or weight of the individual measures in relation to the whole. I can’t tell that this one measure is a huge component of this quarter vs. these other measures which are much less effort. There is priority but that doesn’t equate to effort. Overall good, but these enhancements would make it great.

Great flexibility to show the information you need

I prefer the tooltips for help than the user guide. I think the documentation could be better but the results are great. You can choose the fields, the filters and create a view as you need. Great component

Great for gettin work plans into Salesforce

This app is great for getting an individual's work plan off the hard drive and into Salesforce where it belongs. One small thing that is frustrating is the way that a report is linked to the Measures. When you click to link a report, it presents all of the reports in the entire Org as a picklist instead of a search or lookup. This makes the link to report feature almost impossible to use.

We would love for this to work.. it looks GREAT but..

why does it take up to 3 minutes to render and sometimes freezes.. or causes timeout errors? What are we doing wrong- tried it in Sandboxes and Prod? thanks!!

Great stuff - how can everybody in the company see all V2MOMs?

We are about to roll out V2MOM for everyone in the company and love it so far. Is there any chance on making all V2MOMs visible to everyone (not only within Teams so that e.g. everyone can see our CEOs vision and how he brings it to live)? It would be great if we could add it on the user profiles. Then everyone could have a look easily. Thank you very much in advance!

A magical way to publish a company's goals that drive and measure towards its vision

As our organization grows we need "something" to encourage each other to be accountable to our vision, our values and how we reach them; using the V2MOM app has allowed us to define and publish what Endiem means to us and how we will reach our vision with specific, measurable actions applied to each of our values. For the next iteration would be great if a values were single records and if methods could be tied directly to values.
