Multi-select picklists are the worst! As most Admins know, using MSPs in reports is a nightmare - you can’t easily generate a frequency report. No wonder so many blogs tell admins to “avoid MSPs”, “never user MSPs”, or even refer to them as “evil”. Many2Many--a new Lightning Component that works on all objects--offers Salesforce users a much better way of tagging records with multiple values. Admins can get their first tagging component up and running in under 30 minutes. Many2Many enables users to tag a record with other records and instantly track, manage, and visualize tags. Users can easily chart and report on related records created by Many2Many tags, so admins don’t have to waste time creating dozens of formula fields. With Many2Many, any end user can easily tag records. Since you’re tagging with Salesforce data, the list of available tags can be dynamic (generated by users, not just controlled by admins), tailored to different user groups (using sharing rules), and drive automation.
