Our firms Case Management System (Filepro) has very limited ability to handle or chase Debt, due to rapid growth our levels of debt started reaching very uncomfortable levels. We were hiring increasing amounts of admin staff Just to try and keep the debt level under control. Over the course of a few months Nebula worked with our CMS to synchronise debt data into Salesforce and put together a customised debt solution that meets our legal requirements as a law firm and handles the entire process from follow up calls, SMS’, negotiation and payment extensions and spits out unpaid bad debt on the other end to be handled externally. Most importantly the process they put in place made solicitors aware of the fact they were overbilling, and that visibility has lowered the amount of debt being generated in the first place. Our debt recovery system now recovers 95% of all outstanding debt compared to the 63% we were averaging previously which is a huge financial advantage to the firm moving forward. Fast and efficient – they met with us for 4 hours, gathered our requirements and the next day came back with some suggestions to improve the process – website forms feeding in leads, segmentation of our contacts for future marketing activities and synchronisation with a few other booking platforms we utilise to limit the manual data entry required (all of which we accepted). They broke down our ad hoc quoting process and was able to come up with a uniform price method based on our last 30 completed quotes. 1 week later they were back to train. The training was thorough, we worked through some test bookings and then we worked through the process using some live leads that came in over the weekend. Our average response timeframe for a function quote was previously 13 business days – we’re looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish with this system.
