Sample Flow Loop from Button

Use this flow template to understand Flow loops.

Overview

From an Account, change the status of all related open Opportunities to "Closed Lost" with a Quick Action button. Or, with a simple modification, use the button to mark all Opportunities "Closed won." This button utilizes a simple Flow loop.

  • Look through a collection of records and make a bulk change with a loop.

  • Display all records in the loop on a confirmation screen.

  • Once you've seen one Flow loop, you're well on your way to building your own!

This package includes a Quick Action button and a flow. From an Account, click the "Close Open Opps" button to easily update all open Opportunities to "closed lost." The Flow looks for opportunities with "is closed" = false on the particular Account and makes bulk changes. A screen will appear listing the names of the opportunities that were just closed.
