Help below for those struggling with User Engagement Module
Great news, friends! I have tips for anyone who finds themselves having the same trouble as I did while trying to install the In-App Guidance for the hands-on portion of the User Engagement module. First, launch the exact Playground you will be using. Get your user credentials *WRITE DOWN/COPY* your username for that Trailhead Playground. Next, change your password. Make sure to also *WRITE DOWN/COPY* your new password, you will need to input your credentials manually, *do not default to your saved passwords* for this. After you have your credentials (username and password) go back to your Trailhead, click the avatar at the top right corner, select "Settings" (again, this is in Trailhead, not the Playground) From settings you should see "Connected Accounts">"Connect". *When logging in make sure to use the "Continue with SALESFORCE" not google, linkedin, etc. Now you will input the login credentials you copied down earlier. From here you should be able to follow the rest of the hands-on activity. Enjoy!

Cannot Clone, edit, or assign to Apps
Cannot Clone, edit, or assign to Apps. Access says no for each of the prompts. Editing or cloning just shows an error message: "You cannot Edit/Clone this prompt at this time. Try again later."
Hi Nino, thank you for providing us this feedback. Assigning a cloned prompt to another app or page isn't available yet. You should, however, but able to edit or clone. Please check that you have the appropriate permissions as listed here (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customhelp_lex_prompt_consider.htm&type=5). To add, edit, and manage prompts if not an admin: Manage Prompts AND Modify Metadata.
Helpful jump start
The In-App Guidance addition is a good jump start to get you going with this feature. It helps to see a few examples of how prompts are set up.
Not working... :(
Hello! This feature is working as test when I click on Starting Test. Yet when I log as a user, I go on a VF Page where I added the prompt and nothing pops-up. It works neither on a custom page nor on Report page. I selected the "Everyone" parameter for profile and permission set, though. Would you have any clue for me ? Thanks,
Hi there Admin, thank you for letting us know. What you may be experiencing is the cool down period that ensures users do not see too many prompts. Please see this documentation (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customhelp_lex_prompt_consider.htm&type=5) By default, a 24-hour delay (or cooling off period) between prompts ensures that a user sees only one prompt per day, per app. I have tested against reports and visualforce pages with success. If you can create a prompt, it should show up, no exceptions. You may also want to consider testing the Spring '20 version in a sandbox. You can change the delay or under 'Scheduling' you can set 'Show Immediately'. If you are still having issues, I'd recommend logging a case.
Thank you so so so much
