Bridge the gap between declarative and programmatic efforts, SOQL2Report app is a tool to convert SOQL query into a csv report. The installation is quick and application is easy to use, runs natively within Salesforce. Use Cases: ------------ Excellent for complex reports where the Custom Report Types are not good enough, for example for queries that use Objects not available for Reporting for example: SetupAuditTrail, multiple joins between objects, the NOT IN clause in selection criteria etc... Exporting all the data from Salesforce including formula fields without accessing external tool like workbench. Maintain data backups for disaster management. Export seed data for sandbox orgs. Save time in creating reports, quickly generate joined report containing joins/child records using subquery in SOQL. All child records of a parent can generated by adding subquery to the soql. For example: following is a query to select all contacts under a contact: select id, name, (select name from contacts) from account.
