From start to...well, their was no finish, this team were just abysmal. They got everything wrong and it took them over 5 months to even have half of the implementation complete, in which I had to pay thousands of pounds to them to do absolutely nothing and not only that, I had to pay thousands of pounds to salesforce to NOT be able to even use their platform.

We worked with several OYF staff members who have all been very helpful, communicative and engaged. Havilah was managing our project and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very clear and patient in answering our questions and showed care and attention throughout the process. She would email frequently with updates or to seek clarification to ensure the project was moving forward, call to have a conversation where beneficial and would take a creative and well thought out approach to finding solutions that were perfect for the team. Despite being the expert, she would show great interest in our thoughts and the entire process felt very collaborative. She has shown great patience with our team who could stay engaged with the training process due to her approach. We have decided to use the same team for the next stages of our overhaul as the entire experience was straightforward and pleasant. As a scale-up, we were keen to find a sales & marketing tech platform, which would allow us to fold-up a handful of legacy CRM platforms, which had little synergy with our evolving business processes. After agreeing a 5-year relationship with Salesforce, I was very keen to build a bespoke Salesforce & Pardot architecture that provided a solution for the here and now, yet also with stretch capacity for the future (as we scale). After some initial scoping calls with OYF (our consulting partner), I was reassured that they understood our needs and could meet my tight timeline for launch. Over a 6-week period, there was a collaborative build process, which allowed OYF to become experts in our business. There were weekly development calls, with additional 'deep dives' for the more complex areas. The project culminated in a f2f training day, which allowed for final snagging and a complete E2E run through of the Salesforce & Pardot solution. Many of the internal sales and marketing team were newbies to Salesforce & Pardot, so needless to say, the last 6-weeks has also been a steep learning curve. With a list of legacy CRM systems, we had ten years' worth of data, split across different platforms. So the most challenging part of the project was the phase of data migration. Although I assigned an internal lead (with a technology background), I also made it clear from the get-go that our consulting partner would need to 'hold our hands' through the data migration process. This posed the greatest risk to the success of the project. I am please to report that OYF provided an expert service throughout the project, with data migration being a particular success. In sum, OYF were a superb consulting partner and one that I highly recommend to other companies.

As a small charity with no existing CRM software we were a blank canvas to work with. Through our own research we had identified Salesforce NPSP as the most suitable platform for our organisation.
