Get a partner with experience in implementing in your own industry (e.g. IT industry) would be very much helpful as they may give you the right advise what (report/processes) is necessary and how you can maximise to use salesforce, else you wouldn't know exactly not until at a later stage but by the time the support already long gone and you need to figure out yourself, its a pain in the ass.
