Sustainability Cloud’s out-of-the-box functionality provides all the tools a company needs to be responsible for their carbon accounting, even if they have limited knowledge of sustainability. The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. The pre-designed Einstein Analytics reports and dashboards deliver important information in an understandable and actionable graphical format. Additionally, the ability to drill-down to the details also helps deliver insight into the company’s carbon emissions. Sustainability Cloud substantially reduces time spent on carbon accounting by including all EPA emission factors. And, since companies can find the correct emissions factor to use by simply using their zip code, the calculations are quick and accurate. As a Salesforce Partner, Orion has successfully implemented Sustainability cloud for multiple Consumer Goods clients. The flexibility of the platform allows for great customization, and for one client who needed to move from Excel spreadsheets to a true carbon accounting system, we were able to complete the implementation in less than 6 weeks. Other clients that needed more than the basic functionality benefited from the available additional modules. Sustainability Cloud is easy to manage with a logical organization to all the objects. Additionally, the simple upload templates allowed us to easily migrate 10 years historical energy consumption data that was stored in multiple sources and excel files.
