Read carefully before hiring Stitch Consulting Our SaaS fintech company hired Stitch Consulting in 2022 to help us create Salesforce.com automations. The automations were intended to help us track and manage our sales team’s follow-up tasks and deadlines. It was an important and expensive project for our small company to undertake. A warning for any custom project like this: When the finished solution doesn’t meet the requirements you defined, many vendors will blame the customer. Stitch Consulting is one of those vendors. They will say that the fixes you are requesting require a substantial additional investment. While that is true in cases where the project scope has been expanded, it should never be the case when the solution doesn’t achieve the defined requirements. Yet, this happened to us with Stitch Consulting. At the start of the project, we asked whether Stitch should document our requirements in more detail before beginning the project. They advised that they had what they needed and fully understood what we wanted to accomplish. Working with the team was initially very productive and pleasant. However, everything changed once the project ended when we realized that some of the basic aspects of our new system were not functioning. Months have gone by, and nothing has been fixed. The Stitch team is very unresponsive. They take no accountability for work that doesn’t satisfy the requirements. They want to charge us a lot of money to fix the things they overlooked. They don’t seem to care. I advise any company seeking custom Salesforce development work to check references beyond this page. Make sure you know the vendor’s reputation before signing a contract.
